TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Iron Rebellion (the “Game”), operated by Black Beach Studio LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By downloading, purchasing, or playing the Game through Steam or Meta Quest, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Game.

1. Eligibility

You must meet the age requirements of the platform through which you access the Game and comply with all applicable laws.

Iron Rebellion is not directed to children under 13.

2. License

Black Beach Studio LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play the Game for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or modify the Game

  • Use cheats, bots, automation tools, or exploits

  • Attempt to interfere with multiplayer services

  • Use the Game for unlawful purposes

3. Multiplayer & Online Services

Iron Rebellion includes online multiplayer functionality supported by platform services, including Steamworks and Meta online services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or platform rules.

4. Intellectual Property

All content within Iron Rebellion — including software, design, visuals, audio, trademarks, and branding — is the property of Black Beach Studio LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Black Beach Studio LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black Beach Studio LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Game.

Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations.

7. Assumption of Risk (Virtual Reality Use)

Iron Rebellion is a virtual reality experience that may require physical movement. You are responsible for ensuring a safe play area.

Black Beach Studio LLC is not responsible for bodily injury or property damage resulting from unsafe gameplay conditions.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Black Beach Studio LLC is organized (North Carolina), without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how Black Beach Studio LLC collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with Iron Rebellion.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only information necessary to operate and improve the Game.

A. Platform Account Information

When you access Iron Rebellion through Steam or Meta Quest, we receive information from those platforms, including:

  • Username / display name

  • Platform user ID (Steam ID or Meta ID)

  • Country or region (as provided by the platform)

We do not control how Steam or Meta collect data directly through their platforms. Please review their privacy policies for additional details.

B. Device & Technical Information

Through integration with Steamworks and the Meta SDK, we may collect:

  • Headset model and device type

  • Device identifiers provided by the platform

  • IP address (via platform services)

  • Gameplay performance metrics

  • Crash logs

  • Graphics settings

C. Gameplay Information

  • Match statistics

  • Loadouts and customizations

  • Progression and achievements

  • In-game usage data

We do not collect, store, or record voice chat data.

2. Third-Party Services

Iron Rebellion integrates with:

  • Steamworks services provided by Valve Corporation

  • Meta SDK services provided by Meta Platforms

These services may independently collect information according to their own privacy policies.

We use these services to:

  • Enable multiplayer functionality

  • Authenticate users

  • Provide matchmaking and networking

  • Deliver platform features and achievements

  • Maintain game stability

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate multiplayer services

  • Display usernames to other players

  • Save progression data

  • Improve performance and stability

  • Detect cheating or abuse

  • Provide customer support

  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process data based on:

  • Performance of a contract (providing the Game)

Iron Rebellion is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access or misuse.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Game after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

 

 

Meta-Specific Data Collection Disclosure Paragraph

Meta requires a concise disclosure in your store listing. You can use this:

Iron Rebellion collects platform identifiers (such as Meta user ID), headset and device information, gameplay statistics, and crash logs through the Meta SDK to operate multiplayer functionality, save player progression, improve performance, and maintain security. Iron Rebellion does not collect or record voice chat data and does not sell personal information.
